Introducing our latest addition to the black Box range and the second Colombia exotic, produced by Jario Arcila.
This exceptional Pink Bourbon coffee has been carefully sourced for its unique qualities, as it presents a formidable challenge to cultivate and yields a high reward. Its striking pink skin is complemented by a complex cup, which has been further intensified by Jario's natural extended fermentation process. It's a coffee which struggles for a comparison.
This coffee was exposed to a dry aerobic fermentation of 24 hours before being placed inside Grainpro bags for 50 hours at a temperature below 22 ºC Then the whole cherries were placed on raised beds until 11 moisture content was achieved.
This coffee exhibits an inviting flavor profile, with papaya sweetness complemented by sharp, zesty acidity reminiscent of pink lemonade. Boasting a vibrant mouthfeel, both as an espresso or filter, this is an exotic lot not to be missed.
