Producer: Kilimanjaro Plantation

This natural-processed coffee comes from Kilimanjaro Estate, located on the southern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania. Spanning 663 hectares, the estate is one of the largest in the region, with 565 hectares under coffee and the remaining land preserved as protected natural forest — a clear commitment to long-term sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Run by Kilimanjaro Plantations Ltd. (KPL), the estate plays an active role in supporting the surrounding community. Each year, a portion of revenue is reinvested into local projects, funding environmental and social initiatives, education and skills development, and rural community support programmes. These efforts help strengthen both livelihoods and infrastructure in the area.

Across the plantation, more than 10,000 indigenous shade trees have been planted to protect coffee plants from the East African sun, stabilise the microclimate, and help combat deforestation. The entire farm is also fitted with a drip-line irrigation system, ensuring consistent water and nutrient delivery to every tree while reducing water use by around 60% compared to traditional methods.

Naturally processed, this coffee delivers depth and sweetness while reflecting the care, scale, and thoughtful farming practices behind its production — a bold, expressive cup from one of Tanzania’s most impressive estates.

To ensure peak flavour and aroma, we roast in small batches multiple times per week at our local roastery. Every bag is shipped shortly after roasting, ensuring you receive it at the optimal point for degassing and brewing. We recommend resting your coffee for 5–7 days from the roast date to allow the flavours to fully develop before brewing.

Keep your coffee in its original valved bag, stored in a cool, dark, and dry place. Avoid the fridge or freezer, as moisture can damage the delicate oils and flavor profiles of the beans.
